Well, every once in a while, you get thinking "Why is the name of my blog still the same thing it was before?"

I can't answer that, but I can tell you that it's probably because of visitors, or the likes... Or because you're lazy. I feel that a move [from .blogspot.com to .kradio.co.cc] could get a name change. But than I ask "Why?" I still like the name Twisted. I used the move over to change the look, not the name. I may edit the name in a small way, but not a large way. One day the blog might be renamed Twisted Blog, and might have the CompuBoard sister back, who knows.

I'm writing this, because I was thinking about names. I was thinking why did I choose the name "KRadio is Twisted". I chose it because KRadio was taken, and because adding some superfluous extra piece was cool, and because I like the word twisted [and because I registered kradiostwisted]

I guess I'm sayin' the name works for me. So, it'll stay that way.

It's taken them some time, but they've finally done it. They made the movie to "Leave Out All The Rest", which, in my opinion, is the best song on they're newest album.

The video is 1/4 Star Trek, 1/4 Battlestar Galactica, and 1/2 Star Wars [yes, mostly Star Wars]. I found the pilot room is almost exactly the Millennium Falcon [minus the window, that's the Imperial Window]. All the computer displays looked like those from BSG, and the "Library" [where he's looking at all the charts and stuff] looks like the "Temporal Library" from ST:ENT.

Yeah, it's been a bad day. Now that I'm reflecting it over with the music to Star Trek, I'm feeling like I want to talk about it.

Lets start: 2:30PM; Went to gas station, to get gas for boat, bought ducktape and jolly ranchers, wallet fell out of pocket.
3:00 figure out I'm missing wallet, assume it was left in car
9:30, figure out it isn't in car, go to gas station, find the money gone [$100], and receipts???
Go to best buy for equiptment to fix computer [not mine], closed at 9 [who closes at nine?], check walmart, they don't have one...

Now, I'm not feeling good, but some chocolate ice cream felt good...

Viper Jock to President

Really. I just got finished watching BSG 4.9, and thought, WOW, a Viper Jock is now the president...

Who would've thought that he could be the president? I mean, sure, he's good enough, sometimes, but most of the time, he's just a viper jock. I question how a viper jock could become a president. Welcome HOME! You are now looking at the new and improved KRadio.co.cc design. This new look was chosen because it is an original [IE I MADE IT MYSELF], and I like the way that it looks. Don't worry, the site is a little bare right now, but that's because I'm still in the design phase. So, until I'm out of the design phase, its going to look kinda eh-ish.

Now, a PLUS! The title bar got a complete revamp, and looks nicer. BUT, the blog has yet to receive the new design...

Now, a couple more Minus'; I forgot the link to the Review... But that doesn't matter, because the Review isn't a main part of KRadio.

Wow.
That's all I gotta say, Wow! That guy is a genius. He creates his own future, one of doom, like a post apocalyptic america, but it's not focusing on certain things, it's a huge, broad range thing. Tonight, I was just going through the NIN wiki, looking at how deep he actually went to make this world. Looking at the production costs, estimation, based on how long these sites have been up, it must be costing him over $1000 USD to do. Sure, he makes more from album sales, but wow, just think about it, having to put all the little codes and stuff in merch, handouts, and buttons, would you do it?

Just looking at the surface [you couldn't get farther in an hour], it goes so deep. It felt very real, to me at least. Imagine being one of the first people to actually crack the code and just figure it all out. I sent emails to a couple of the sites, the responses, and how I actually got a reply [preset, but still, cool] makes the world of Year Zero so much more believable. I think I fell into it easily, I didn't have trouble saying "That couldn't happen", maybe it's because I read Dynastic novels and the like, but I really thought it was amazing.

I want to suggest if you ever have the time, check it out. You can use the method I used, which is probably the easiest, cause everything links to itself, go to the NIN wiki, and just click open almost every link on the front page, and go from there. I would really like the see it as the movie that it's been talked about as.

Wow I'm oblivious, 45 Min later [after going in deep, 2 days after getting the album, I thought it was Reznor...] , I just realized what the album cover is, The Presence...

My Views on Writing

My Views on Writing
How did I start writing? I have to ask myself that question. I think I started writing in sixth/seventh grade. I had to burn some of my writing in eighth grade because it was that bad. This year [freshman year], Adam Schreckenberger came into the SciFi club, and talked to us about writing, and how he self published a book. I have now self published things NOBODY will ever read, but I have them in case somebody does.

Why do I write? I think I write because it helps me do something fun, that I like doing. Everybody likes doing something, I like writing. Now that winter break has begun, I am going to write several stories, that will first appear on FP.NET, and then in book form on lulu. I hope to continue the HIM saga, seeing as I only use vague, non-descript ways, and it makes me happy that people read it…

I don’t understand how some people don’t write, or even read for that matter. Without writing and reading, worlds are smaller than they should. Most people who read what I write a lot should know that I will have a point eventually, and that you’ll just skip down to the bottom now because I have ranted enough in your mind, well guess what, today there is no need to skip down to the bottom, I’m just gonna say it “I’m Starting a Writing Blog” Yeah, so if you’ve stayed with me so far, I’ll include some more places where I am going to publish my writing.

Computer Wars; Round TWO

Yeah, I posted this on CompuBoard, but I really liked it, so I posted it here too. What do you think, I mean, HP pwnzorz Dell any day...

You can just hear the word "fight" in the background can't you? No? Well, seeing as the last computer wars round was compiled by a completely pro-dell person, who didn't find it important to mention that Dell almost died this year. I have comeith to givith yet another round, with a different biased-ness.

HP v Dell:
A favorite among computer enthusiasts, the Dell V HP battle is one of the longest, but still, HP is might have less support than people want, but Dell almost left the market. I have to ask, why get a Dell? Dells weigh more than the standard computer, and are bulkier. I can't tell you why you should buy a Dell, because the HP Tower downstairs is working fine.

Gateway v Dell:
Again, a long time battle. This time a different variety. Gateway is actually my favorite brand after Alienware, which was recently purchased by Dell. You think that the purchase would have made the computers with the "Dell" name on them better, but no, still heavier and bulkier. Gateway, which is what I'm using as I type, weighs less than ten pounds, unlike Dell and their average of twelve, and thats for a computer two inches smaller than mine.

Alienware v All
Alienware pwnzorz, I know I should try to use the English language, but the only word which describes the relationship between Alienware and everything else is pwnzorz. I really can't say anything else, want a really nice, fast, great computer, buy an Alienware.

Okay, so it seemed a little biased towards Alienware, but still, I don't have an Alienware, there isn't one in my house, but they are the best. At least I'm biased towards the best, right?

KRadio - Web Revolutionary

As in the previous post [read below] I stated I was going to write a book. This is the title of that book.

All I have right now is the plot summary:

A mysterious figure starts showing up on multiple sites, the only clue that it is the same person, KRadio. This person starts leading a revolution of sorts. The Revolution includes creating the largest web group ever. The group would include everything, Blogs, stores, websites, art sites, everything legal, everything appropriate. The plan starts off rocky, people don't want to join. KRadio than writes multiple anonymous blog and journal posts on multiple websites and forums. People read them and understand the idea, thinking that another user created the posts, because KRadio commented on them that he wished to do the same. These people work together and created one of the largest groups ever, all under the title "The Invisionary". The Invisionary lasts for multiple years, but than a previously unknown force attacks, they only call themselves the reform. The reform starts and nobody knows what to do, KRadio is missing from the internet, and all are panicking, slowly, one by one, sites start being removed.

So I created this image, and I think its pretty cool, I mean its Battlestar Galactica, and an iPod, all in one. I have been having fun with my custom iPod projects, where I find some iPod image and add new text and other stuff to it. The project started when I wanted to create a DeviantID for my DeviantART page, and it kept being fun. So anybody who wants to have one can email me about it, I might make one if it sounds cool.

The TimeWarp

The Timewarp, the newsletter for my schools Sci-fi/Fantasy club, which is supposed to come out bi-weekly, hasn't had one issue published, which is why I am going to run for the position of Timewarp editor, if I can't make it this year, I can next year. I have a way to make the Timewarp publishing and submitting more streamlined, and without requiring a printer. I would setup a forum, and there would be the first section "Announcements" because you have to have announcements, than "Submissions" where people could drop off articles, than "Timewarp Year Issue#" and another section for each issue. This would be much better, because everybody has internet access, so paper and ink would not be wasted, each issue would be in pdf format for ease and printability.

If people didn't write stuff, I would write stuff, all of it, all [at minimum] three articles, or get people from other websites for help.

The Odyssy and Hoop Dreams: Rough Draft

I really thought that some people might like to read what I write for school, so I will be updating this whenever a new draft comes up, in a new post that is.

This is an essay for English, the prompt is "Compare and contrast the Odyssey and Hoop Dreams" because we watched HD and read the Odyssey.

The Odyssey and Hoop Dreams

The Odyssey and Hoop Dreams are two very different types of media, and have nothing in common. The Odyssey is an epic, and follows the rules of an epic with different points in a story. In contrast, Hoop Dreams is a documentary, featuring two “heroes”, who really don’t deserve the name heroes, they are just the protagonists, who have a dream to make it to the NBA. The only common ground between Hoop Dreams and the Odyssey is that the protagonists have goals in which they HAVE to achieve. There is no reason other than that, which make the two stories comparable.
The Odyssey is an ancient Greek myth about Odysseus who gets trapped with Calypso, and when he escapes, must find his way home. Hoop Dreams is a relatively recent documentary, featuring the high school years of two inner city kids who have a dream to make it to the NBA. Hoop Dreams has no “Supreme Ordeal” that the protagonists must face, unlike the Odyssey, where Odysseus must kill Penelope’s suitors. Hoop Dreams has two protagonists, the Odyssey has three main protagonists. Hoop Dreams takes place when the protagonists are 13-14, In the Odyssey, the main protagonists son is in his twenties because his father has been gone so long. A connection between the two different stories cannot be found, in any way at all, except for the fact that the protagonists all have a goal in which they must obtain, that goal is only achieved in the Odyssey, yet another instance of the two being different.
Because both were written/filmed more than one thousand years apart, it can be expected that there are differences, but the fact that an essay has to be written about the two means that there should be some similarities between the two. If that is so, why are no similarities present? Why is the Odyssey so much more enjoyable? Why did the class have to watch Hoop Dreams? It is believed that the essay is being written to test how good writing is. It appears that the Odyssey is possible more enjoyable because you can go into a fantasy land where all is good, and good prevails over evil, and because it seems realistic, even though Hoop Dreams was completely real, it didn’t have the “human element”, the one that makes people want to keep getting into the story. In the Odyssey, one kept going because it put you in the characters head, but in Hoop Dreams, all a person has is a narrator with a dull, droning voice. The voice doesn’t even tell you how Arthur and William feel, just what is happening, and it doesn’t feel as real, because you can’t say “I’m this person, and I know they would do this, because that is how they think”. With the Odyssey, a person could get into Odysseus’ head, and could be able to say the previously mentioned line, or they could use the line for Telemachus, or possible Athena. Hoop Dreams and the Odyssey have two different styles of story telling.
Hoop Dreams and the Odyssey cannot be found to be similar in anyway. Therefore, cannot be compared in this essay anyway but by differences. Because of that, it has been stated that the Odyssey is a much better, more entertaining story than Hoop Dreams and its dull, droning voice. The Odyssey and Hoop Dreams are not comparable in any way, at all.

WritersCom? What?

"What is WritersCom?

WritersCom is short of Writers Community, yet another project I have started. This happens to be one I really want to work, because it could mean extra credit, something I really need in English. So I have this blog started, the link is above, and anybody who wants to join can, currently the only member is me, I want that to change.

How WritersCom will work:
First off, WriterCom will be a blog and forum, anybody who wants to can become part of the blog team, and anybody who joins gets their name on the list [took me 5 tries to write name there, and 3 to write tries], secondly anybody who has their name on the list can write a chapter of the current story, but you have to get in line.

Story?
The WritersCom will have a story being written at almost any given time, anybody can suggest a story to be written, and anybody can write a chapter of a story, assuming the final chapter author hasn't been selected yet. Chapters are written when the author gets around to it, each chapter should be AT LEAST two typed pages double spaced 12 point Times New Roman font.

Writing The Story:
As stated above, anybody can write, and they can write more than one chapter, assuming the book isn't finished yet. Anybody who is an author for any story must read all the chapters before they write theirs, because otherwise the book will not make sense. Any author who does not write their chapter in two months will be pushed to the end of the list, meaning if it takes you more than two months to write a chapter, you have to write a new chapter, the next chapter on the list, for example, your currently in the lead on your list, and you take more than two months, the person after you writes the next chapter, and you go behind them if they are the only one in line.

Calhoun "Make sure you say 'engage', its just not the same if you don't say 'engage'"
Picard "Make it So"

and:
"I think you'll get a lump on a pedestal which shouts obscene noises at random intervals to scare passerbyers" Picard commenting on what Calhoun's Memorial will be

Day Off [part 1?]

Hello everybody,
Yesterday I had the day off, too, because of Parent/teacher confrences, and today is an institute day. I went to the school my dad takes a photoshop class at, it was really boring, so I took a walk around the building, and watched battlestar galactica. I also downloaded the Battlestar Galactica season 2 and 3 soundtracks. Today I am at my mom's office, in the city. The original plan was that I would go home at lunch, but that can't happen, because my brother is sick, so he is with my dad, and they can't come to have lunch in the city, so I am just going to stay here all day, it will be fun, except I won't have any photoshop, firefox, tabbed browsing, chatrooms, youtube audio, ect. But I do have my iPod!

I may post again, it will be a looooong day.

Worst Day Ever

Today was, by far, my worst day ever. First, last night, my mom said I could sleep in as long as I wanted, I got woken up at 9:30, to go to cosco, where I got nothing, compared to my brother and sister, who got something they wanted. Than at lunch, I was putting salt onto my fries, but somebody put a napkin in the cap of the salt filled with pepper, I'm allergic to pepper. at 3:45 I asked my mom if we could go to an art store, so I could get some nice colored pencils, because I haven't had any since seventh grade, when they were stolen. She responded "in a minute". Well, a minute was 45 minutes, and at 4:30 we went to the store, they were closed, on the door it said "Hours... Saturday: 10 AM- 5 PM" it wasn't even 4:40. After diner we were going to have family movie night, that got canceled, and made me angry, because I like family movie night, we only have one every month.

Yeah, I'm angry, sad, and some other emotions that have no name.

I haven't updated in a while...
But that doesn't matter, because today, I am going to talk about BOFFERING!
Thats right, boffering, the art of hitting people with padded pvc pipe, fun, neh?

I have compiled a document that I will post eventually, and from that doc, you can learn how to, I have included links, because I wish not to give you instructions on how to make boffering weapons, just look at the sites.

Okay, I know I am posting this everywhere I go, so If you have seen it already, to bad!

I don't get it, I find them more boring than a sac of potatos, but thats me. Why do people play them, I guess they feel like they are part of a greater community, but still they arn't fun. I will cancel my subscription to SWG when the time comes, but I just don't find it fun to play. I have more fun playing Starcraft of Battlefront than I do playing MMORPG's of any kind.

So people, please tell me why you find MMORPG's so fun, I really want to know

This is something that has been in my head for a long time, and just needed to get out.

Anybody with a comment that says "this is bad" or something along those lines, DON'T THINK ABOUT IT, I know it is kind of bad, but I had it stuck in my head, and had to get it out, now, I can share with you the hideousness of my writing that you have all read before, right?]

A man walks through a town, with one thing on his mind.

The songs are in her eyes, you can see them when she smiles, I've seen enough, I'm not giving up. On a miracle drug.

Those were the only thoughts on his mind.
He thought he could see her, see her smile, see how she was the one, see everything he needed.

This mystery woman was gone, never to be seen by anyone but him, and all he know was that she was his Miracle Drug, the one who could help him, the only one he could love. She was the one.

She was not of Science or Medicine, she was a stranger, and he took her in. He was her, and she was his.

But now, she was gone, nobody was left but him. Nobody cared. He knew it had to be a dream, she had left nothing behind for anyone to remember, only he cared.

Daft Punk [About the Music]

My French class has a presentation on an artist every Friday. I found a loophole in that project, and the loophole is we were never told what kind of artist, just an artist. Meaning that it could be a musical artist, which is why I am going to present Daft Punk for my presentation.

Most people haven't heard of Daft Punk, they are a "French" band, but they play music in english. Most people who have heard of Daft Punk probably aren't aware that most of their songs contain sexual references in them, especially "Harder Better Faster Stronger" [which they recently did a mix with Kanye West]. This song, if played backwards tells a song about "Erva" and "Milo".

Just wanted to tell you this, it goes along with my previous post, which I talk about backwards music being slightly addictive towards me.

Backwards Music

I have started listening to backwards music, and it is fun to see what some songs say backwards, for example, the Linkin Park song "Numb" has a whole satanic song inside of it, and in "What I've Done" You can hear them saying "we are the ones. F--- you"

Weird isn't it?

Well, I downloaded audacity so that I could do that to more songs, and found out that Panic! at The Disco has about a million meanings in reversed songs, but it is in french!?!

In "Somewhere I Belong" LP, They are talking about them being super, and all shall tremble to them, and that is just the first part.

It is just really weird how songs do that, and it is sort of just a coincidence, and the people who wrote the songs are doing it subconsciously...
